Needs coaching! ”

“ Super excited to have found this place! Beef ribs are not very common on menus so we always rush to a restaurant when we find them. They were perfectly cooked with the right about of sauce to complement the smokiness. If you're an onion ring fan I highly recommend ordering the appetizer. Giant and tasty with a delicious house made ranch. Service was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Looking forward to going back soon! ”

“ Goodwood is one of my favorite restaurants when we're looking for good food in a comfortable environment. It's one of our favorite places to get together with friends since you can actually socialize without feeling like other patrons are sitting in your lap or yelling in your ear. The minute I walked in the door, the smell of tasty bbq set my mouth watering. Our server was pleasant and fairly attentive. My wife and I shared a 2 meat platter and an appetizer and it was more than enough to make my tummy happy. I look forward to our next visit. ”

“ My wife and I were able to have lunch with another couple yesterday. As usual, we were not disappointed. Because of babysitter issues, we also had a three-year-old with us. We like this place because it is always clean and the service is always excellent. Then there's the food. Shortly after taking our order, we quickly received the chicken tenders and mac & cheese for our granddaughter, which kept her nicely occupied. She loved it! Platters of ribs and burnt end sandwiches were served with steak fries, beans, coleslaw, and pickles. The table grew quiet because everyone was enjoying their beautifully prepared barbecue. What's better than trying new restaurants all the time? Regularly eating at Goodwood Barbecue and knowing you will get the finest smoked meats and sides available. The Key-lime pie, ice cream and brownie sundae were all luxurious. Do yourself a big favor and come here soon. ”

“ Another day, another dinner at Goodwood! No wait and not busy. Needed a comfort meal so got our usual: I got the Prime Rib (rarest they have is the temp I ask for bc it's always perfect! It came out with a good smoke flavor and slightly cool red bc it wasn't busy. However, it worked out well for leftovers and wasn't overcooked when reheated ), veggies (steamed broccoli), and sweet potato fries (bc this is my typical side order I knew the sweet potatoes fries come dusted in cinnamon sugar, but this time the server asked if that was okay first so that's probably nice dor new customers to opt into beforehand; I have never been notified/asked before - the first time I got them it was a happy surprise ). The fries were a little soft and limp, so I'm going to ask for the fries on the side and see if that helps! Overall everything was cooked perfectly! I also ordered a side Caesar salad as an additional side. The salad also comes with cornbread, and they added an additional one without even having to ask. The cornbread was seemed fresh and warm with little kernels of fresh corn My husband got Prime Philly Sandwich with fries, which always hits the spot for him! Ordered a key lime pie to go, which was absolutely delicious! You could smell the lime without even opening the box It was a fairly large piece of key lime and finished off the next day. Haha. I would definitely get again - another happy dessert find Our server was very friendly and attentive. When we asked for boxes the server gave us a fresh container of au ju for the road! Again, we come here at least monthly and are rarely if ever disappointed ”

“ Goodwood has a solid lunch special for their BBQ platters! Large portion sizes and you get to select your meat and sides. It's usually not very crowded on the weekends during lunch time. I typically go with the pulled pork, coleslaw, and fries. The chicken thighs are decent as well. Service has always been fast and friendly. Not a bad place to pop in for some bbq! ”

“ This is a go-to place for my wife and I. Usually a solid food experience and the staff is always very nice. It's a good sit down restaurant that has mood lighting. The food: Wedge Salad - 9/10 - I've only ever had one wedge salad better than this one, but I love that you can get brisket on this one if you want. This is a must try here. Texas 5-Star Chili - 8/10 - this is loaded with brisket, has a kick to it and is all around fabulous. The only complaint I have is that it's a little greasy. I get this almost every time I come. Burnt Ends - 8/10 - I love this cut of meat and it's a wonderful treat here when they aren't out of it. I've never left and said, yuck. So I love this place. I always leave full and very happy. ”

“ We had lunch with our extended family and were well taken care of by SoFI... she had a very large group of tables and handled everything flawlessly.. she was also so kind and even knew ESL sign language to communicate with our family members ... the BBQ brisket was exceptional and everything was amazing. Great to have another BBQ place to eat now other than the usual national brand choices. Spoke with Jack and learned a bit more about their philosophy and how GoodWood is set apart from the others.
